The Society of Friends of Belgium in America was set up as a donor-advised
fund at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). Because
KBFUS is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3)
and 509(a)(1) of the IRC, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits
allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions.

Can I earmark my contribution to a specific event?
Your contribution may be either a general donation or one earmarked
for a specific event. If you would like your donation to support
a specific event, please note this on the memo line of your check.
How are donations allocated?
The operating expenses of the Society of Friends of Belgium in
America are assumed in their entirety by the Board of Advisors and
the Executive Committee. One hundred percent of all donations received
are directed to the cultural initiative sponsored by the Society.
