Donors who purchase items at a charity auction may claim a charitable
contribution deduction for the excess of the purchase price paid
for an item over its fair market value.
The winning bidder will be contacted by e-mail by our team. A
check for the amount of the successful bid will have to be sent
to the King Baudouin Foundation (and must be made payable to the
Foundation). The winning bidder will then receive a letter from
the King Baudouin Foundation as receipt for the amount contributed
and it will mention the estimated fair market value of the artwork.
Full contact information is required to get a receipt. |
